Lamb & Kid Colostrum Oral Gel is a nutritional supplement for newborn sheep and goats, which contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms, dried colostrum milk and vitamins. The colostrum provided in Lamb & Kid Colostrum Gel supplies a source of maternal antibodies and protein. Lactobacillus organisms contained in this product assist in the establishment of beneficial microflora in the newborn. L. acid excreted by these organisms will influence pH reduction in the small intestine. This action removes the environment needed by certain coliform bacteria to proliferate and perhaps cause disease. The newborn receives a generous supply of highly absorbable, essential vitamins and trace minerals, which are necessary for the establishment of good health.
