Lightning Arrestor, Porcelain/Steel, For Use With: Electric Fence Energizers

A lightning arrestor is designed to be used with electric fence energizers. It helps to protect the energizer from lighting strikes to the fence line. Made with a strong porcelain frame and steel connection points. To install, mount the arrestor to a wood post at the opposite end of the fence. The arrestor should be at least 65 ft away from the energizer for best results. Use underground cable to connect one terminal to the fence and the other terminal to a separate ground system from the energizer.
